Coffee maker

Hi folks,

Complete novice here. Tired of drinking the instant coffee. Was in the states last year and the cousin was brewing real coffee and there is no comparison.
Just looking for advice on what to buy? Dont want anything mad expensive as it simply wouldnt be used enough.

Aeropress, IMO.

Yeah - I'd spend the money on a decent grinder (there's a link in this forum to a suitable Bodum Antigua grinder) and a French press from TK Maxx (or an Aeropress if you want something a bit more exotic - you'd need to spend more on a different grinder though). You could get a moka pot too, if you like something a bit smaller and stronger. A cheap machine is a false economy - if you don't want to blow much, and still want good coffee, go for the above.

The aeropress ain't much good to you without a decent grinder. I'd pick up the bodum grinder and a cafetiere/french-press. You should get both for less than €100. This bodum won't grind finely enough for an aeropress btw.
