    I dated this guy last year , I was pretty messed up at the time so I left him. We both moved on and have been seeing other people , we have been in constant contact daily ,always a bit flirty he is always there for me and calls to see me now and then. Well I am single again , he is seeing someone . But I have realised that I really want to be with him. Is there a chance for us ?

    How long have he being going out with this other person? Are they in a serious relationship?

    Around 3 months its a long distance thing , he says its not

    Then if he is that interested in you - is he willing to leave his girlfriend?
    I didn't doubt there was attraction between ye, but I just meant that nothing can happen whilst one or both parties are taken.

    we haven't disscussed this but my own feeling is that he does have strong feelings for me this has been going on a good few months with us

    Then it's something that needs discussing, he can't be all over you emotionally and still be with his girlfriend. He needs to choose.

    As hard as that is - if that's his choice, you can't change it.
    You can't just be friends with him because clearly your feelings are involved, so I suggest talking to him and seeing what's what.

    Hmm, well if you two live close then I would imagine he will go for a real flesh and blood girlfriend rather than a bunch of texts and the odd weekender.

    Tread carefully though.
