    Hi all,

Been hearing conflicting stories as to how many teams are to be relegated from NFL1 / promoted from NFL2. The Irish Times have printed for weeks that it is to be one relegated / one promoted but others have been telling me it's two relegated / two promoted.

Can anyone confirm what is the case?

It's always been 2 up/2 down, don't see any reason why they'd have changed it.

You'd hate to reach the NFL2 final and lose it hence missing out on promotion!

2 up,2 down alright.I think for the second year running it is a case of relegation between 4 teams and playoff spot between 3 teams in NFL1.Westmeath are gone pretty much with the other relegation spot between Mayo,Dublin,Donegal and possibly Tyrone.I think Dublin and Mayo may survive the drop on scoring difference.

Anyone ive spoken to says it's 2up and 2 down, wouldnt make it as competitive if it were just 1 up and 1 down, might help Westmeath though :D:D:D:D
