Tourists Watch Biker Killed In Airport Brawl
    2:22pm UK, Sunday March 22, 2009

A biker has been bludgeoned to death in front of horrified travellers and tourists at Sydney airport.

Two gangs of rival bikers clashed at Australia's biggest airport, using metal poles and barriers as weapons.

The dead man was battered to death with a metal pole.

"They came running through picking up the big metal barrier poles and swinging them like swords at each other," witness Naomi Constantine told ABC.

"I saw one of the men lying on the ground and another man came up with a pole and just started smashing it into his head."

Police said one gang ambushed the other in the departure lounge of the airport's domestic terminal.

Detective Inspector Peter Williams said 15 men were involved in the violence.

Four men were arrested while the others escaped.

"A group of males have exited a plane and they were met by another group of males who we believe may be other motorcycle gang members," Mr Williams said.

"A fight ensued, the fight moved through various parts of the terminal to the ultimate location where the man was deceased."

Police have warned that a biker war may be emerging in Sydney.

There have been a string of drive-by shootings and last month an explosion went off outside a fortified Hell's Angel's clubhouse.

Jesus and they say Ireland has problems:eek:
