If they won't be, do you think they could be worth a serious in the long term. If they aren't be nationalised then what else can happen, don't they kind of have to rebound, excuse my ignorance?

In Sweden two main banks were nationalised in their so called wholesale nationalisation. One of these was already part nationalised precedding the decision. The other banks that existed all became at leaast 20 baggers as regards the share price increases in the next few years.

Ps.. There isn't a hope in hell in my opionoin that Ireland will nationalise its banks. Crazy move to socialise the entire banking system. 100% no way in my opinion.

There was a guy on the radio this morning i didnt get his name, some economist. He said that finally the government have came around to the toxic bank idea, he said that the government must move fast to put this plan in place, which they are not doing.
he then moved on to say that the banks will be nationalised.
at this stage i was confused, does he mean a toxic bank will be set up along with nationalisation, i kinda thought it would be one or the other.

my opinion is that, the government should not nationalise the banks, i dont think they will go for nationalisation as they seem to be against it.
when you look at all the options i think the government will go for the bad bank.....i wouldnt be too sure how the markets would react as the gov do have a record of been unimpressive, twords the markets.
