    :) whether you know this name or not im sure it got your attention...

    aka "the blind baird of the liberties"

    He was an old dublin baird/balladeer/street performer in the 18th century, but i have found out quite recently that songs such as the twang man and patrick was a gentleman were his! I find this very interesting and was just wondering if anyone knew of any books about the zozimus himself, or even a website (ive already cleared google out)..

    If someone isnt familiar with him, i would recommend having a look, he was quite the comic,

    really hoping someone on this forum will have a bit more knowledge about him and possibly other songs that came from him!
