    The only thing worse than a fake Rolex is a real one with diamonds and rubies or gold.
    Stick with the all steel or platinum - platinum is heavy and heavy means reliable - and you can can do damage if you have to hit someone with it. If some skanger steals it from you they won't be able to run fast and all that weight will have built up your muscles so you can pound them.

    With Omegas he's right - go for the big ones - Speedmasters and anything with the Co-Axial escapement. The rest are all ETAs under the hood and not worth the money.
