Yah that's Nenagh v Aherlow U21 County football Championship which must have been about 20 years ago now.
It's well known(the commentary) around Tipperary.

You'd swear it's Pat Shortt doing it.

anyone know where i can get that funny commentary by John Kenny from D'Unbelievables on the infamous underage GAA match? Heard a bit of it again on Newstalk last night and just remembered how funny it is.

I think that's Effin Eddie's commentary, the same as posted by OP above. Off The Ball show are always playing little short clips of it. Kenny and Shortt styled themselves on this guy amongst others. This was the 1992 County U-21 B Final, played on new years day 1993.

Effin Eddie, ah yes, a pure gem of a video, and never to be beaten. It's actually true that Kenny and Shortt used real life characters, I know the guy they based The Grunt on.

Yup definitely Eddie Moroney, they're always playing it.

Search his name on you tube, that entire county final is on there. Absolutely brilliant stuff. Beats paying 30 euro for the DVD down pat Fox's pub anyway.:pac:
