    is there anyone waiting for it??ive been waiting for three months now for it...anyone got any advice on how to speed things up....

    Just a waiting game I'm afraid. These things take time, as the child's other parent is now looked into to see if maintenance could be paid. Some cases can take up to a year, and with the huge unemployment backlog, things move more slowly than expected.

    I would advise you to make a claim from the Community Welfare Officer, who may give you funding until your claim is decided on.

    Three months is a long time, should ring up and enquire or have you done that already??
    Happened to my friend last year when she lost her job and had to start claiming. Waited and waited rang up to see if there was a problem and turned it was all ready and waiting but had been skipped over
