I have been using DSL (Damn Small Linux) (http://damnsmalllinux.org/) for a few days now, is it possible to get Ubuntu to display System stats/uptime/data flow in the same way that DSL does?

I really love that feature of DSL. I have attached a desktop image with the feature I am talking about, in the upper right corner.

Attached as: DSL Linux Desktop Stats.jpg

Here's the latest how-to for setting up Conky in Ubuntu.

    http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=6365702

I used the conky_colors package from gnome-look which looks really nice:

    This is my Conky here:

I've also attached my .conkyrc if it helps. I don't know if you'll be able to get the weather thing going though, the scripts are in a .deb file.

Here is a very good guide for setting it up.
