Anyone used this product before? I'm led to believe that it puts a fantastic shine on your car and is guaranteed for ten years!?! From anyone's past experience is this product any better than spending a few quid on regular products and using a bit of elbow grease? And what about this '10 year' thing? I'm a bit sceptical to think that after application all I will need to do is give the car a bit of a washdown every now and again. The product does sound good but I'm fecked if I'm gonna fork out €300 for an application that is no better than turtle wax!

Any experience with this product lads?

I don't believe the claims for a minute.

It's a generic enough acrylic paint sealant with PTFE suspensed in the formula which adds an artificial gloss to paint, so a plasticy or sterile look. Lasts about a year, 18 months max and only if applied properly.

It costs £35 for the whole kit in the UK from Eurochem who manufacture it (called Toughseal) and over here an agent just gets it rebranded and charges - wait for it e95.00. RIP off Ireland - Don't bother. There are far better lower maintenance products out there, but in general terms your car will only look as good as the amount of work you put into caring for it.
