Mother's Day is the 10th of May.

I avoid Harold's Cross Road on Mother's Day because the number of people going to visit the cemetery is huge and the traffic is horrendous. Strangely, on Father's Day the traffic is more or less the normal Sunday traffic.

I forgot to get a card. I went to a shop yesterday to get one. none left. Didn't have time to go anywhere else, but luckily my mam is working today so I wont see her untill about 5. Now will I waste about a fiver and buy her a card now or will I be creative and make her a nice one out of my nieces and nephews arts and crafts?

Help me peoples. . . help me!

Used that for a friend before. Not sure the mother would appreciate the gesture as much.

Rang mam just there, told her the card is in the post (it will be in the morning anyway!)
After I got off the phone i felt really guilty about not actually being at home (when i could easily have done so)
and just sending a crappy card late at that too so i cracked out the credit card and ordered her a bouquet of yellow roses (her favourite) to be delivered in the morning....

    God Bless the internet!
