Does anybody know the latest on cordoba at the minute, is he ok as he was brought to hospital after the fight, hope this was only as a precautionary measure???

P.S This fight has to be a canditdate for fight of the year, there was 2 champions in that ring last night, they had hearts like lions and it was one of the best fights i have ever seen it was a pity there had to be a loser, but obviously delighted for dunne to win the title!!

Havent heard any word on Cordoba yet but hopefully he's ok.
Yeah it was a spectacular performance by both fighters and one they both should be proud of. A draw wouldnt have been an unfair decision if it came down to it.

RTE Website states "Cordoba had to be stretchered out of the ring, although it was reported shortly afterwards that he was out of danger en route to hospital."

I reckon Corba will be okay. Pure exhaustion from hellacious effort did him in.
Dunne too was exhausted; great from both guys, heart and guts galore.

I hear Dunne was in the hospital until 5 am with Ricardo.
    Great man!

Thats good to hear. Dunne looked in serious shock and couldnt settle until he was assured the lad was ok.
