I went through the process of registering a company today on www.registeracompany.ie. When it asked for the address it had fields for -
    Address 1
    Address 2 (if applicable)
    Town
    Country

There is no county field though, anyone know why not?

Anyone here who has used this company? Im a bit pissed off at the moment as Ive just spent €75 euro on this and the address is basically incomplete everywhere it appears on the documents. So does it matter that the county field is missing, the address is a small rural town, its not like it's a big town that everyone knows where it is.

why dont you put the county name where the town space is? If you cant, email their customer support an ask them to fix it for you.

it's a form to put in your address, as above you should have put the County in some where.
    Address 1 - 1 the Long Road
Address 2 (if applicable) - Rural Town
    Town - Cork
    Country - Ireland

If there is no county of course it matters, there are probably several town with the same name as your around the country in different counties.

Hence the problem of using an automated service for setting up a company. You should have used a company formation agent as you'll actually get to speak to an expert instead of just typing up a questionnaire which no doubt will be inserted into a generic template instead of having specific documents drawn up for you. Plus, you're gonna have to pay a €100 filing fee to CRO anyway and it will take approx 4-5 weeks for your company to be registered. Then you have to buy a seal and register so all in all its gonna cost you about €225 when you could have had it all done in less than a week with a formation agent for about €300.

Although the above is great to know in hindsight, i'd suggest you contact their customer service and get them to rectify the documents for you.
