Call me mad, but the hanging on and surviving was what impressed me more than anything else. It was still the same Dunne in terms of speed and power and style.
He wasn't simply miles better in all those areas. He was miles better in terms of survival and guts.

One thing I want him to do, STOP bloody admiring his good work and capitalise.
He tends to stand back after landing one or two and admiring it instead of
pressing and working harder. Did anyone notice this?

Also, he kept looking 'pissed' off when the fight was sloppy and not working for him.
You can't be doing that; keep the focus and commitment.

This was a huge learning experience for Dunne

I have to say, I really enjoyed Dunne's entrance. The music when he was behind the curtain and his shaping in the background was cool. He looked the part whilst posing!

Though, I'm not a major fan of the Irish Rover part

Huge credit must go to his nutrionist and strength trainer. The Bernard Dunne of a year and a half ago would not having survived that fifth round.

His entrance music is "O Fortuna" by Carl Orff. Class entrance music to have.

Like I said, this is what impressed me more than anything. Guts and heart and little defensive tricks, and he showed cunning and guile. His defence is weak, I have to say, but at least he did a whole lot better than previously.

This crack of stepping back with the arms WIDE apart has to be addressed, and quick, He will get caught heavy coming out from the clinch

It's not going to be, it's just how he fights. It improves reflexes and his defense is based on just that. Katie Taylor does it aswell, as you can see from her fight last night. It is risky but if Bernard was to keep his hands tucked to his chin he wouldn't move away as quickly and he'd be in range longer which would also be dangerous.

Personally I think his defence is pretty good, I think most top level fighters would of been hit even more by Cordoba. Just most top level fighters are a bit more durable than Bernard.

Big, never say never. I know it's his style, but tweek it or alter it slightly.
It's bad and I'd rather Dunne take a shot to the gloves than the chin when coming out from the clinch
