Hi, Anyone know where would I get a permanent gold pen for invitations? Or would a nice black one do ( I am not sure about a gold pen)
and should I hand write the addresses? As apposed to printing labels?
Thanks for any guidance in advance!!

Most art and craft shops have pens like that even Eason's might, I know where they are in Galway if that's any good to you? :D

Go with the gold pen if you can, nice and pretty and wedding-y :)

Writing addresses by hand is fine, gives it a personal touch, but be careful doing it in gold pen on the envelopes, I used silver pen for christmas cards once and the metal sort of flaked off in the post, cards arrived in january. :( You could write the address normally, then use gold pen and a rule to line the outside of the envelope or put a small symbol on the side in gold?

Sorry yeah I wasn't thinking, I meant use the gold pen for the actual invitations, I'd say go with regular black or a dark brown/gold for the addresses, gold can be shiny and tough to read on envelopes but it's lovely on the invitations.

Also about handwriting or doing labels for addresses, I guess it just depends on how many you have and how much time you have, labels might be easier if you have a lot.

I have about the same amount to write, and I am definitely going for hand writing.
You can use a calligraphy fountain pen for the best result. Much nicer than a sticky label!
Give yourself a little time frame: today I write 20, tomorrow 20...
    Happy days!
