    hey guys!!

    I've never ever ever had my nails done before, but I've developed this big girlie thing recently, and decided I'd go for it!!

    So has anyone ever had their nails done here before? I'm getting gel nails. What's the difference between gel and acrylic nails?

    Hi, I got gel nails done there before and found them great!:)
    Acrylic nails will do more damage to your nails as they stick staright onto your own nail were gel nails have a bond between your own nail and the gel

    That's great! And they're ONLY 55euro a set with a free smashbox make over, which is pretty cool.

    Only I hate smashbox make up.... They feel like crayons!!!

    Thanks a mil for explainin that to me laura! I'll be going in knowing what I'm talkin about now! How long does it take usually? I'm booked in for 6pm on thurs.

    I've had both the gel nails and the acrylic nails and the gel nails are the best. I found with the acrylics they fell off within a week. I get my nails refilled in Clearys as well and the girls there are really good. Everyone walking by seems to stare at you though!!! You would swear they had never seen a nail bar before! I would leave a good hour and half if you are getting the nails on for the first time!! You will love them though! I get my set put on there in Dec 07 and I havent been without gel nails since then! They make you feel so girly:)

    Do you not find it difficult wearing gel nails all the time? I found it difficult to pick up stuff, like coins on a table.

    Found it impossible at the beginning to do my hair, pick up coins, take a bank card out of my purse.

    I had gel nails for about 2 years. I got them done in Clery's. The girls are really excellent in there.

    I eventually got rid of them because I couldn't afford the upkeep and they were damaging my nails.
