Anyone recommend a cleaner that will leave a matt type finish rather than the wet/shiny finish that Son of a Gun leaves.

Armor All do a Matt & a Gloss version of their dash wipes. I use the matt ones & it doesn't leave that ridiculous shine on the dash.

If the dash isn't really *dirty*, why not try a damp kitchen microfibre cloth?

Auto Glym vinyl and rubber care (I think thats what its called) but some APC and a cloth would more then likely give you a result your happy with.

i only ever use a microfibre cloth. If its dirty, like said above use a damp one. Makes about 10 seconds once a week to take dust off then...if you're sad like me and keep the cloth in your glovebox...

Poorboys world natural look dressing or einszett cockpit premium applied with a microfibre cloth give a nice matt finish.
303 aerospace protectant is excellent if expensive.

A drop of APC on a damp cloth and dry it off after.
Nice clean matt finish with a nice scent in the car
