I'm in first year of the course. Did business for a year before changing to this. Pm for whatever info you'd like, I'll do my best to answer.

I'm in 2nd year. It's a good course. The DCU prospective student book tells you all about the different modules you do.

What can I help you with? What type of info are you looking for?

Edit: Modern Technology is grand. Its meant to be technology in a science point of view but its not sciency at all. You find out how different technologies work eg. tv, internet and about energy and stuff. Its enjoyable and easy to pass!

Well thats good news!! and what do you think of D.C.U. overall? And what about the "businessy" subjects? For your work experience next year, do you have to get your own job or are you provided with one? Not important to me yet but just curious. Thanks.:)

DCU is as good as any uni out there. Same as in everywhere else, what you put in to it is what you get out of it. All the business courses kind of over lap a bit. No matter what business course you pick at the end of the day you'll probably end doing the same thing you have an interest in.

I'm currently sorting my job out now. What happens is companies advertise positions through DCU and you apply through DCU. It's a pretty easy process. You can organise your own ones though. One or two in my course have contacts in America and are heading there for the year.

Ah that makes sense, thanks for that. So where are you thinking of working anyway? What are career future prospects like for M.I.N.T.?

I'm not sure yet will have to see!

I'd say Mint graduates are very employable. The course is designed around what companies are looking for.

    Yes Erin c'est Melvo.

I am not the real Yugioh though. It will become clear to any budding Minter who the real one is after attending Mawkating Fisabilwty Wesearch.*

Lets keep this about the info for the newbies though.;)

    Defo strange name choice.....

Yea Mint is good i guess.... except for some of the ppl(like Melvo) :P

It is most definitely not a strange choice - I'd like to think YuGiOh was an inspiration to us all.:P

Melvo type characters are a bit off putting alright (no hugs - like ever). But there are other less tangible benefits of people like Melvo. Having him refer to himself in the third person is just one of these.

One piece of advice for any potential DCUer though - never ever trust the Dutch - especially with your iPod Touch.
