Discounts on engagement rings in Fields

    hey all, seen a lovely engagment ring in fields today in town and i know applebys offer a civil service discount and was just wondering do fields do anything of the same or any other type of discount?

    Applebys have a "civil service" discount?! Err what?!

    Apparently they also have a BOI discount. I thought any jewellers would give you a discount on an engagement ring. I bought mine in fields and they knocked €500 off it without me having to even ask, it was slightly outside what our budget was and the lady took €500 off to bring it within our budget. I never mentioned where I work. Also got some sort of loyalty card so I get 10% off any future purchases. :)

    so i have been told, people in work told me about it. the discount depends on what your buying i think a watch is 10% off or something like that
