    Hi,
The scenario here is I have a partition wall and on one side there is a double socket.
Now I want to put a double socket on the other side of the partition.

Is it possible to "Tap" in the other one?

    Thanks

Yes providing that you would not be overloading the circuit. Ip possible wire from the end of line. Also stablish if its a ring circuit or radial(most common). Ring circuit you will have to have cable from old socket to new socket and back out again to fuseboard. Radial just branch of the end of line if possible. Its fine to join to two cables also. Ensure tight connections and sleeve the earth cables. Also you might by a twin drylining box for easy installation of socket. Approx. 5euro for both dry lining box and socket. (Wholesale)
