Half price tv's in tesco

    I was in tesco in coonagh in limerick and they had 2 types of goodmans hdtv's at half price.
    Now obviously goodman isnt the best name, but it was tempting! didnt buy it myself though as i am broke, but saw many people buying them.

    Just noticed that the 2 signs are the same, sorry thought they were different! there is 2 slightly different models, one has speakers at side, the other has speakers at the base.

    Any one see these in Cork? In any of the following stores-Wilton,Mahon or even Midleton? Does Douglas do TVs?

    got me one of these this morning in clonmel, am quite pleased, i know its only hd ready but thats sufficent for a kitchen tv for me. probably too late to get a review now ive bought it, but anyone know where i can get a review for it? (mine by the way has the same product num GTVL37W27HD but it has a completely black surround with the speakers at the bottom.

    seriously, i'm thinking of getting one of these for me xbox - what are the black levels like? i mean, when the screen is completely black, does it look very grey?

    also, any1 know if tey have any in dundrum - dont want to waste the 2 euros parking if they dont!

    soon as i can get dh to take it out and put it on the wall ill tell ye (though my knowledge of tv preformance amounts to....... picture? yes, sound? yes, still wallmounted? yes!!!)

    Looked at this but €115 more will net me a 37" full HD toshiba regza delivered from Pixmania.

    review for the goodmans, plugged it in, and.......NOTHING! (maybe i just unlucky) brought it back to tesco and got a full refund. they are sold out but are coming back in soon. got a 40inch samsung instead so off i go to find a review for that!
