Just a quick heads up for anyone booking a room at citywest hotel for the IO , I had a look at their own website and the cost of a room was euro 120 per night b&b , then I used the special code "IO2009" as provided by the organiser's of the tournament which reduced the rate to euro 100 per night "room only" https://citywesthotel.visrez.com/web_reservations/ssl_checkout_simplified, finally I did a quick google and came across hotelsireland.com http://www.hotelsireland.com//index.cfm?page_extension=viewCart and the rate is 65 euro per night b&b nearly half the rate the hotels own website is offering, needless to say I booked through hotelsireland.com

I have no affiliation with any of the above, I'm just looking for the best deal.
The above is based on a single room and 3 nights.

Thats a good deal. We found that the same last year on booking, ended up getting a triple room B&B last year for €90 per night through one of those room booking sites.

Another option is The Forge Guest House in Saggart Village.

It's €55 per night and about a 5 minute walk from Citywest Hotel.

Next door is a pretty nice restaurant called the Anvil. They do breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Have never had breakfast there, but the lunch menu is very extensive. I've never been dissapointed with the food.
