A lock?! That would be even more annoying than buttons.

    ZIP!

But if it was a pair of boxers, it would definitely be buttons, a zip on a pair of boxers is just not my bag...

Zip. With buttons on the rare occassions when I discover I have left my flies undone I end up looking like a pervert fiddling with myself while I try to discretely button up again.

The problem is that he was talking about one pair of jeans both being the same. Now, what on earth is he banging one about? What is this one pair of jeans supposed to be the same as? Is it supposed to be the same as a wheelie bin, or a loaf of bread, or even a week in Marbella?

He should have buttoned his lip and said no more, because he's turned what should have been a simple question into a nightmare.

Oh, and Pat Kenny? No question. :P

It's got to be buttons. The risk/reward for wearing jeans with a zip is just too high.

zips can be highly dangerous on the sensitive parts if not used correctly but I would rather wear them as buttons involve too much fiddling

Buttons, zips get too dodgy after a few pints.:pac:

    From a female perspective.
Buttons take a lot of touching.

Buttons are insanely hard to do up when drunk and zips you risk zipping your dick when drunk so whenever I go out I use those pants with velcro that completely rip off. I get some wierd looks pissing against a wall in the middle of the street at 3.30am though. :(

85% of Cork people prefer buttons............ the sheep can hear the zips a mile away.

Only open the top 2 buttons and work with the space available, no need to open all 4 or 5.:D

    zips, for sure.

though my favourite trousers have a velcro fly. i don't know why, but the mere novelty factor there is enough to sway me.
