Bridge with Eircom & Buffalo

Hey guys. I'm with Eircom and have one of those wireless routers that they provide. It's a Netopia 2247NWG-VGx. I set up a wireless network no bother with that but it doesn't reach the very end of the house. So I bought a Buffalo WBMR-G125 router to boost the signal. It says in the manual that it can be used as a bridge but I can't get it to find my current network. Does anybody know how to set it up or, ideally, have a link to step by step guide as to how to do this?
    Thanks in advance.

Couple of things. A bridge does not nesessarly mean it can be used as a wireless repeater.
Also, you normaly have to "enter" the name of the wireless network you want it to communicate with,i.e your netopia units SSID.
After a quick look at the description of that Buffalo unit , I can't see any indication that it can be used in that fashion.
You need a box that specifies it can do wireless repeating.

    Have a read of this:

Another solution which lots of people on here find works fine in your type of situation:

There are brands other than netgear of course.
