Got a dent in the New A4 yesterday, its in the front bumper, what would be the best way to go about getting it fixed? Dentman or panelbeater? Its only small just with the car being brand new :(

you could try a dent guy first, my feeling is tho that as its in a plastic panel it may be impossible to get out, could be wrong tho

Anyone good at plastic welding should be able to make that a little nicer on the eye. It'll never be perfect though - it looks a little over stretched :(

You could probably even give it a go yourself with a heat gun or a hairdryer - be careful though!

Defo try a dent guy first. It's pretty good what they can do with stuff like that, even on plastic. Don't fall for the "you'll need a new bumper, plus the fittin', plus the painting, plus the VAT" nonsense from the dealers.

depends on what you mean by best way to go....

Dentguy - cheap, quick, problems are it is generally never perfect on plastic and over time it can get worse....

Panelbeater - expensive for repairs to small dents, takes a bit longer than dent guy but the finish( if you go to a good panelbeater) is as good as original....

Nobody mentioned it yet but I'd try a dent guy.

Price doesnt really matter want it done right and quick, a panel beater has looked at it but cant do it for 2 weeks, anyone recommend someone to do it in the Louth Armagh or Dublin area?

C&g Crash Repairs behind Frank Keane BMW are reasonable and do lots of main dealer work in that area. Used them before and very happy 4500363

I got similar damage repaired on a brand new car too a few years ago. Cost me about €200 at the time, people thought I was mad for bothering, but like you, it was a new car and it annoyed me too much to leave it! It came out perfect afterwards... no point recommending my lad as it wasn't Dublin area.

Crofton Motors, Sundrive Road are good and have been recommended here before.
