Macbook to TV converter

Hey lads,
Quick question I have a Macbook with a mini DVI port and a TV with either scart or component connection (RED, White, Yellow pins) type what is the best way to convert what I'm watching and streaming online to the TV?
What components do I need all together including cables etc and where could I pick these up today.

I know very little to nothing about this media conversion etc?

mini dvi port and mini display port are different things altogether.

yellow, red & white connections are called composite. component connections are the same physical size but are coloured red, green & blue.

you need the Apple mini dvi to composite adapter. this will give you a "yellow" output that will go into the tv for video. then you will need a mini jack to rca cable to bring the sound to the red & white sockets on your tv.
