    Hi All,

I am looking to take some lessons in the Limerick area, have had a couple in the past but am looking to join a club now so that I can put the lessons into practice.

I have heard that the woman in Coonagh is quite good and I know there is a guy in Dromoland also?

Can anyone recommend someone for some lessons, I am at a basic level right now but hoping to spend a lot of time on golf this year. I have built up a decent set of clubs... Now i need to learn how to use them :)

    Bmac

Barbara Hackett operates out of Coonagh and is a good coach for all standards of players....She sometimes teaches in Rathbane GC too..

Not sure who coaches in Dromoland but Lee Harrrington in Limerck GC is another fine coach...

I'd hazard a guess that Barbara is a bit cheaper than most so she might be worth starting with....

Hope that helps, Pm me if you want..

Donal McSweeney in Limerick County is very good.
He has his own teaching room. With many different cameras. To get your swing from every angle. He also has the flightscope. One of the best launch monitors you can buy and many different clubs that you can try out. Gives instant feedback
I was with him two weeks ago and I thought he was brilliant.

What are his prices like Obwon? I had a lesson in Ballyneety before and didn't get him but some other guy who walked off to talk to other people a few times during the lesson

50e for half hour and 95 for an hour I think...not 100% but thats what I remember

Donal is a very well respected coach and usually has all the latest technologies around him.......The teaching room is a nice addition to the setup as well and allows for a bit of peace and quiet during a lesson.

Very good equipment there (swing analysis etc). Dave is a very nice guy who has treated me very well I have to say over a good period of time now. He tends to look after guys who are regular users of the facilities. I have found him a good teacher. The academy there is excellent too.
