Anyone know what this system would be like for gaming?

Could it run new releases on medium detail?

Is it possible to upgrade/overclock the CPU/GPU?

Is there any component that really hinders the system performance?

It wouldn't run any new release very well, the 2400Pro is not a gaming card. Most newer titles you'd be looking at 800x600 low-medium settings at best, some even worse depending on what you're playing. It needs a GPU upgrade, realistically you'd be looking at an extra 80 euro for a solid, budget gaming card.

It would be possible to overclock the GPU but it wouldn't acheive much, not possible to overclock CPU.

It's a good budget machine for that price but it needs more to make it into a gaming machine (Another 2GB of ram on top of existing possibly, definitely a new card, and unfortunately perhaps even a new PSU depending on what's in it - which would prove quite uneconomical).

buy the rest seperately, the original PC has 2gig for €240, another €90 for 6 extra.
