Came across an ad for these guys on Facebook. The platform looks clear, but the search engine still need some tweaking.

I like the general layout, but again, I think the first website to start policing photos and insisting on photos is the one that'll get the traffic.

its done entirely with flash. I doubt it will take off, hope so anyway I hate using websites done completely in flash.

Renault Escape and Grand escape .

First manufacturer I checked. Not bodeing well so far.:)

Dont like how it blindly list all models, you dont know if there are any of a particular car till you select it.

    Hi all,

Thanks for checking out the site. We have just launched the first phase of the website for the general public so there are still a few kinks to be ironed out. As for the Renault Escape it must have been an early morning in the office :).

Hope anybody will be kind enough to give us some feedback that will help us improve the site and the users experience.

    Thanks,

    Stuart

I don't like the way the whole bar changes colour when I hover over it. I don't know, I'm too tired now to give it the usual going over. If the thread is still open tomorrow I'll give it a go.

Not sure why the entire site needs to be done in flash. The controls are quite inconsistent - some dropdown boxes are also auto-complete textboxes, some aren't. Some sections of text can't be copied to the clipboard, some can. If you select text and move the mouse downwards, the text area scrolls, so it looks like text is missing. I can attach a screenshot if required. The font is better suited to a UNIX terminal screen than a website - the character spacing is too wide. I don't like how the page loads downwards on every click. You should use a standard hyperlink cursor for the images that are links.

This is a big one - I can't find a way to send a link to a certain car. That is absolutely vital. People can't bookmark cars easily, or post links on a forum like this.

Thanks for all the feedback so far,

The site is built using a technology called Flex, which is indeed based on Flash.
We chose Flex as it allows a clean and easy user experience, to hopefully make using the website easier for the less computer-literate gent, with simple flows and a clean interface.

The platform also allows for faster browsing and searching with server requests only being sent off for the areas that require new information.

As eoin mentioned, there are certain features such as bookmarking a car etc that will be released in a few weeks time. Please add any opinions on what you would like to see.

thanks for the offer of the screenshots eoin, much appreciated, feel free to pm them to me.

    Stuart.
