Looking for Drummer (North-East County Dublin)

Craic lads,

I'm Keith Broni, the bassist for The Desired Effect. Our drummer recently quit the band due to want to pursue being a guitarist, so obviously myself and vocalist/guitarist Danny Carroll are now looking for a replacement. We're both 19 and live within the Swords/Malahide/Portmarnock area of north-east county Dublin, and would be looking for someone with a similar age (18-21) living near enough to our area who'd be free to practice regularly during the weekends and ready to gig once we're all confident with the tunes.

We've both a wide range of influences, but musically we're a meld of Arctic Monkeys, The Jam, Queens of the Stone Age, The Smiths and a few other similar acts. However, when playing live in the past we're stuck almost solely to our original material as we're both dedicated to what we're doing musically and like displaying what we're created ourselves.

Yes, we were beginning to gig quite a bit before our drummer left us. It really can at an unfortunate time as I had lined up several gigs in the coming month which we've had to drop out of.
