Luke’s Anger (real name Luke Sanger) has been involved in electronic music since he started DJing in 1995.
His involvement with music and machines began even earlier with an Amiga and tracker software. He started writing tracks using synthesizes, samplers, drum machines and computers in 2000. In 2005 he had his first vinyl release on Don’t Recordings and hasn’t stopped since, releasing on a wide variety of well-respected underground labels and starting his own imprint called Bonus Round.
Past releases have had support from across-the-board DJ’s including: DJ Houzmaster, Kid606, Jerome Hill, DJ Warlock, Michael Forshaw, Si Begg and Drop The Lime to name but a few..
Luke’s recent full-length album entitled “Funk of the Rural Neverness” on Kid606’s Tigerbeat6 label, received great reviews and airplay all over Europe and the U.S.A

    A few of the reviews:
    Laurent Garnier
“ 8/10 Very good Lo-Fi Funk album. Lot’s of great things in there to be played.”
    Technasia
“5/5 Favourite track Dead Like Elvis”
    Colin Arnold - ed2000
“The album is all round cool. Will be supporting in radio and places where peeps can feel this vibe. Great sleeve as well”
    Litwinenko – Detroit Underground
“10/10 Super Hi-Tech funk! Cool beats!”
    Tim Lorenz – Superdefekt
    “cool! Somehow 2steppy cutup-technofunk-tracks. Definite dancefloor-smashers!”
    Fra Solar – Kompakt
“Fat as fk, brialliant record, will play a lot”
    Shelley Parker
    “10/10”
    Detroit Grand Pubahs (Kultusmag.com review)
“Edited breakbeats with crazy twisted effects, packed with a bass load of punch. If you were a fan of Si Begg Noodles series then this is definitely for you. Although this has more funk, in a ghetto tech/electro stylee. It’s a lot of fun, which you can’t help shaking ya booty to.”
