    hi,

I am thinking of buying an old 94 shape Mercedes E200. I have always liked them.. What are the things you must look out for on these? Other then the general stuff is there any specific weak points on these? Does the E200 have a DOHC engine? Are suspension systems suspect? bushings etc?

    Thanks

If you can, get a 93 (pre-facelift) 200E. They don't rust as much, and are generally better-built. Better-looking too, IMO. I had a 93 320E for a while, and loved it - comfortable, composed and refined. Mine was pretty reliable - the only thing to go was the heater fan.

I had a 94 one. No problems except anti roll bar bushes. Great car for small money now
