    Hi,

Just wondering if any of you guys can offer some info on the above, I purchased a USB docking station for SATA drives recently (suitable for either 2.5 or 3.5 drives, literally just slot them in) but before I go ahead and buy a new drive I need some advice:

Is there any difference other than speed between SATA-300 & SATA-150?

Also I emailed company support but got no response on this, I'm looking at getting a 1.5TB Seagate Barracuda hard drive for the dock - does anyone know if there's a limit to what I can attach in terms of capacity? (Apols about all the questions but there's no info provided with it or on the company website concerning this - thought someone here might have some experience with these gizmos)

Cheers for your help, and thanks in advance for any feedback ;)

I've the Sharkoon dual SATA version of the dock and currently using a 300G SATA-150 and a Samsung 1TB SATA-300 with now issues.
SATA-300 is backwards compatible with SATA-150.

    Edit:

Where did you get the dual IDE/SATA dock, I bought my dual one in Berlin but still looking to get one for my old IDE drives.
