I bought my irons off the callaway website and they suit me perfectly, but i was lucky because my friend already had the irons i wanted to get so i tried his out first to see if i liked them.

Direct Golf in the UK used to have a custom fitting section online. Having said that it's useles unless you've got all your settings done already.

Yeah, I've bought a lot of clubs online and never had a bad experience. I dealt with one England based gentleman on ebay who sold me a second hand set of Ping irons and he had them adjusted to black dot (standard lie) for me before he sent them on to me.
