Battery Life - Which Portable DVD player?

Got to buy a portable DVD player for a flight soon with a 2 year old.

From my research it would appear the batterty life in a lot of these leaves much to be desired - the average appears to be coming in at 2.5 hours.

Do any of you have experience with this model or others? Any advice appreciated.

That one has a usb port so I assume you can view movies stored on a usb drive. If so I would store the movies on the usb drive and play them off that as it would give you better battery life. Have you tried looking for user reviews of the model? These usually give good insight into the product.

check with the airline as some still ban CD / DVD players
something to do with electrical noise from the laser

look at an mp4 player or a photoframe that can play videos, no moving parts means battery will last longer too
