Pitman Training - Problems?

I was just wondering has anybody experienced any problems with Pitman Training? I am currently doing a course which isn't working out for me and I'm experiencing problems trying to leave. Pitman are telling me that I am not just liable for the original course fee that I was quoted (Fas funded), but now I am told I will have to pay the non-subsidised amount if I don't complete it.

I have been told that at the start I signed a contract that committed me to the fees.. this is something I wasn't given a copy of and also these conditions were never explained to me. I am fine with paying the fees that I thought I had originally agreed to, but I can't afford to pay what they are now quoting. This is causing me some stress.

I'd really appreciate any advice or to hear about other peoples' experiences.

    Thank you

As you were subsidised and did not finish the course Pitman are probably not receiving the subsidy for you and are asking you for this.

Hi, You should have no problem leaving this course, and only pay the initial fee you were qouted. You have probably already signed the form that needs to be sent to FAS to claim your funding. There should be no reason for Pitman not to get paid from FAS for you doing this course, once there is evidence you sat on the course, so if you were there for one or two sessions, this should be ok...

    Best Wishes
