    Seems like a few peoples are getting their feathers ruffled by the thanks option on Boards. I can't seem to understand it, the theory goes that since the introduction of the thanks facility posters are posting funny comments in order to get thanks. So what's the problem with that, it is After Hours after all, isn't that its raison d'etre ?

    If someone makes me laugh, I'm going to thank them. If After Hours and its inhabitants didn't make me laugh then I wouldn't come here and would just tend to use Boards for informational purposes.

    I just noticed that, its what made me start the thread. You made a funny comment, people laughed and thanked you but one poster took exception. Abused for giving people a giggle, where would you see the likes of it ?
