    Did anyone see the Corrie Wedding on Friday with Becky and Steve supposedly getting married, what a piece of rubbish it was, unbelievable from start to finish. Dreadful scriptwriting.

    I didn't actually see it as I don't watch Corrie, but I was reading in a magazine that Becky gets so drunk that she doesn't actually remember getting married in the first place. Another attempt at Corrie's famous comedy episodes no doubt.

    Yeah it really was rubbish. As mentioned in the thread about soapland weddings, there's normally some kind of catastrophe at all the weddings but this whole episode was just so drawn out and uninteresting.

    Plus I didn't get why there were no guests invited other than Roy and Hayley. I mean, you could understand steve not caring less as it's his third wedding but I thought Becky was all excited, getting an OTT dress etc.

    I'm actually going off Corrie in general lately. Used to love it but lately it's annoying me.

    I used to like Becky but lately I've been going off her, I enjoyed the banter between her and Steve originally but now it turns my stomach the way she's always mauling him and slurping all over his face, 'c'mere Stevie boy!' and the way she skulls from beer bottles with her tongue out like a thirsty porn star. I really like him though, gifted comedy actor.
