So boardsies, place yer bets, where do you reckon the Colonial Fleet will end up in the finale?

    - Back to the Colonies? Well, the planets are radiated and there be Cylons about!

    - Kobol? If you're the religious type, bad things will happen to the Colonials if they stay there.

    - New Caprica? Again, the Cylon threat.

Myself, I reckon they'll 'miraculously' discover a habitable planet - green fields, palm trees, etc...

Maybe there's even a chance that they'll just be indefinitely stuck in space.

    Kobol
Fingers crossed they find a habitable planet. I actually want a happy ending for these people. The characters deserve a little bit of luck.

Look at me talking like they are real!! Sad-o. :o

I actually still think there is more to be done on Earth...... wherever that may be!!

I have a feeling that the black hole is infact a time traveling wormhole (would explane starbuck question and how the final five also lived 2000 years ago and now) that once entered they will come out the other side 2000 years eariler at earth. and that the recent flash backs are infact them living out the remainder of there lives before the nuckin the earth (caval must have followed them back through it, so that might explane why the cylons where on earth 2000 years ago and destroyed it). This time they manage too destroy the calval lead cylon force thus not repeating the earth been nuked in the first place. And they settle and live happliy ever after in somwhere like jamaica man. Ya jamaica man;)

The Final Five were resurected like 'our' clyons when they died on Earth. They traveled for two thousand or so years at sub light speeds to reach the 12 colonies clyons.

That was explained when Ellen was reintroduced.

ya but maybe there are in a loop, dont they keep sayin its all happened before and it will happen again or something like that. may be they go back through the black hole, live there lives on earth for a while then they get nuked and brough forward two thousand years and keep goin through the same frackin cycle until someting breaks it, which could be about to happen now in the finale.

We keep saying that, it's been mentioned a few times.

The cyclical nature has all been in real time, so a time travel twist at the end would seem slightly out of place, to say the least.

The chronology is best read here: http://en.battlestarwiki.org/wiki/Timeline_(RDM)/

Earth's 'clyons' (essentially humans) made robotic cylons much the same as humans did on the Twelve Colonies, and the cycle is how humans and cylons have consistently destoryed one another over the course of thousands of years.

still have to go with the whole Anders being on galactica at the end, jumps it and its crew into the singularity, comes out the other side like kara thrace did, brand spanking new ship, new earth, new everything, they all live happily ever after, until all of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again.. yadda yadda bish bosh boom 2000 years later same deal again..

hehe, realisticly i have no idea, most logical assumptions seem to fly out the window with this show anyway, cant wait for the end :)

Please no time travel, alternate realities or it was all a bad dream with a Bobby Ewing shower scene, they have been done to death and imo would be an insult to the 4 seasons of the best sci fi series of all times. Equally I don't want a Soprano's or Stargate SG-1 type ending where it really has no ending but might spring a movie or dvd follow up. The series needs closure but it needs to be done right.

Serioulsy though I don't even want to guess what type of outcome the finale will have to be honest, I've waited this long so 2 more days is nothing. I just hope it has a gob smacked ending like the original Planet of the Apes (1968) which will have viewers talking about for years to come.

Heh,it'd funny if it was the exact same ending as Planet of the Apes, big monkey statue and all. :pac:

    Kobol
Right I'm gonna throw my hat in the ring and bet that Kara Thrace is one of the Lords of Kobol. The characters in everyones visions are the Cylon gods doing and Roslin will live and Adama will die. Oh and Baltar will die and totally redeem himself by saving the human race.

If any of that comes true I apologise for it being a spoiler! :)

I am also convinced about Kara being a LOB. Altho I nicked it from a poster on bsgcast.

I don't know. That would be a rather 'sci fi' turn, especially given how Kobol and the propecies and so on have been sperseaded in recent seasons by similar (and in most cases, more detailed) propecies by the hybrids and the one true 'God'.

It'd be hard for them to do a u-turn and say, ''Nah! We just spent the last two and a half years convincing you 'God' was real, but there's really twelve of them, and one is Starbuck!''.

I think she is what the hybrids and Anders have said. Most likely divinely ordaned, but unlikely to be a physical god.

It doesn't really matter that its over because all of it has happened and will happen again. :P
There not going to let us down, for the most part the show has been consistently good which shows a respect for the fan base. The revealing of earth so early on wasn't an accident, they needed to do that so the Starbuck story could be revealed.
However i can't see any of the poll answers fitting the bill. Lost in space perhaps. . .
