Well I would heartily recommend these guys. Great rep in the vintage market. Good sensible prices too and no fakes or made up "marriages". eBay is full of that kinda thing, so unless you really know what's what I would avoid. Certain omega seamasters they fake all the time. Even experienced collectors get had there.

    Here ya go,
    http://finertimes.com/asp/watches/query.asp?Title=New+Today&SubTitle=+-+Omega&Where=(Man_Code=%2786%27)&TypeCode=0&ManCode=86
I've even done the search for ya:)

    Hi
I have bought two omegas on ebay from India........they were genuine omega's watches and was told they had been fully serviced and in perfect working order. Both watches worked but needed an overhaul and neither had an original omega glass in them. I expected this to be the case, so if you do buy vintage watches on ebay expect them to need repair. It was fine for me to do this as I can repair watches but if you buy them and then have to pay for the repair it can end up not been worth it. The same applies for any vintage watch you buy in a jewellers in Ireland, they will say they are in perfect working order but this is rarely the case.
Also do NOT buy any vintage watch advertised on the net unless they have good quality pictures of the movement - the back of the watch opened so you can see what movement is inside.

Not saying eBay is safe for this type of stuff in general but it worked for me.
I allowed for quite a while to find 'the right one' and finally got it from a private seller in Belgium. She hadn't been looked after but was mechanically perfect so I subsequently send her to Omega's repair centre in the UK (http://www.swisstimeservices.co.uk/) for a general overhaul. They did a complete overhaul of the mechanics and also cleaned the dial, hands, everything, reilluminated the hands, replaced the glass and polished her. Also this was indirect confirmation that it was the real deal which it was and it came with a 2 years guarantee.
Now I have an absolute beauty of a 1963 (roughly) automatic date Seamaster in stunning condition. It cost me about 450 Euro in total and I absolutely love this watch. If you have your mind/heart set on one of those, just do it. You gonna love it.

I'm very interested in a 1960's gold Omega Seamaster Deville. Rose gold, I think. If it says Danny or Daniel on the back, and you've come across it for sale, then please let me know as its highly sentimental and was accidentally sold about 14 years ago.

sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your chances are slim, due the the fact that many of them have been scrapped for their gold content.
