As per this thread here which details the event taking place this weekend.

Paddy Power Poker will be running a value packed satellite to the event.

$5 rebuy, 1 ticket Guaranteed, No minimum players >> So if two players turn up - 1 of them will walk away with the ticket.

When - Thursday 19th @ 8.30pm on Paddy Power Poker
Entry - $5 with rebuys for 5 levels.
    Structure - 10 minute levels, 1500 start/rebuy chips; 3,000 addon chips.

Any questions just ask - do not play this satellite if you can not play the event on Saturday/Sunday! If you cant play your seat will go to the runner up etc. Under no circumstances will cash alternatives be given.

undecided whether to stay at home, have a go online and tackle the wacky world of ppp or part with 10 times the cash and play the live satellite....reckon the value could end up being in the Fitz tho!

Dont forget that the Fitz satellite allows one additional rebuy or top up which will cost another €50 so if you're taking the bother to play in tonights final MT satellite for the TOUCH event then you must allow for a €100 spend to give yourself the best chance possible.

Having said that with circa 40 runners and a guaranteed 9 ticket giveaway your odds of winning a seat are better than 5/1. Whilst a $5 event on PPP might look like good value they'll no doubt get around 50 runners and given that most players will average around $20 in rebuys and add-ons that still means that there'll still be only ONE seat given away.

Okay...you've saved $100 by not going to the Fitz but there are 9 times the seats available and you've only saved 5 times your money.

No contest, IMO, as to which you should play in and its NOT PPP!!

    Do the math...:)

Major flaw in logic, hence drawing dead.
