Cutting down on the number of cars here, & have decided that daughter No.2 & my wife will share.

Selling locally (private sale) is a 05 Ford Focus tdci 1.6 zetec.

46k miles full ford service history, mint condition

any views on this car & what would be a fair price for private sale (no warranty)

it is 25 years since we have had a non Jap car & I would be expecting over 150k miles without issues

any thoughts welcome

I reckon it should sell for between €8k and €8.5k depending on condition. It should be due it's first NCT too this year, the first one can be done 6 months in advance of it being due.

I sold one two weeks ago for 8300 with 12 months warranty. 5dr, LX (not Zetec), 56k miles, black.

snowman, my friend is looking at possibly a focus 1.6tdci at the moment. Have you a link to the ad and is it the hatch back?

Is she an English car originally? The only reason i ask is you've given the mileage in miles.

A mint one should go for around the 8.5k mark IMO.

We haven't had a chance to look at the car ... daughter at college, wife somewhere else, (impossible to get 2 women to pull in the 1 direction !!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
