    Hi!

Ok I know this question has already been answered. but i'd love to find out myself.. was just looking on aer lingus website. Im heading to London at the weekend and im not planning on checking in any bags.. just going to bring a few items of clothing with me. Can I bring a bottle of make-up and such? also i'm sure i wouldn't be permitted to bring hair straighteners or anything like that? It's been a good few years since i travelled.. thanks

You can take on make-up in bottles no larger than 100 millilitres.
They need to be in a clear plastic bag.

You can't have more than 1 litre of liquids in the same bag.

I think you'd get away with the straighteners....

BTW, common mistake is thinking a 200ml bottle is only half full. They will bin it. Make sure the container says 100ml or less.
