Applying for the dole

    My hours got cut big time at work down to around 10 hours a week now:(. I was listening to the radio 1 day in the car and heard that you can apply for the dole online now. Anyone know the name of the website where this can be done ?

    I don't think you can apply online but you can probably download the forms to fill in etc.
    if it's on the web it'll be on http://www.welfare.ie/

    as i am in the same situation as keith i too wonder if i can apply?
    i have 12hours a wk work, can i get the dole too?
    I cannot survive on 12 hours i.e 100 squid a wk when my rent is 95...
    would appreciate if any1 can shine the light on
    if i only have 12 hours of work a wk, wot do i do?

    (iv applied for up to 30 jobs with one callback)

    Do not sign on online, it does not work...i did it and when i went to the office they just did not have a clue what i was talking about.

    Its not worth the hassle, the staff are too busy to deal with people sitting in the dole office trying to claim, how would they deal with internet applications too?

    Foundry you can apply , go to the dole office, bring ID, proof of address and proof that your boss is only giving you 12 hours a week...
