pasty Irish laydee going on stage in Miami - help!!

    Hi all o/

    I'm heading to Miami for the winter music conference on sunday, really looking forward to it :D

    The thing is I entered a dj competition that theyre running (for the lulz!) and got through :eek: So on the tuesday I've to be poolside at the conference to compete.

    I have my set ready to go, im not worried about that :)

    What I am worried about is what the hell should I wear for it?! :eek:

    I'm size 10 with bewbs, blond and pale as a ghost ;) but have a rather large and colourful tattoo down one side that i'd like to show off if possible.

    One of the tracks I'm playing has a bit about a polka dot bikini in it, so initially I was thinking a funky skirt and polka dot bikini top.... but did I mention i'll be on Miami beach and am size 10 and pale as a ghost? :eek: So I don't know if I have the confidence to pull it off.

    Any suggestions welcome, im really stuck :(

    Typical wimm eh? worried about the outfit not the set :rolleyes:

    what you said sounds nice to me :) would you be bothered with fake tan if youre really conscious? i hate the stuff but it can look ok if its done properly (professionally!)

    personally id just make sure i was totally covered in suncream & go with the paleness :) youre a size 10 so im sure you have a lovely figure.

    I'd totally rock the paleness! The tattoo will more than make up for the lack of skin tint, and obv. ye couldn't put fake tan over the tatt anywho.

    Skirt and top you mention sounds good :)

    I'd agree! Surely it'll make you stand out in a good way?! I'd definitely keep the pale. The outfit sounds lovely though!

    If you're white you're white - I wouldn't bother with the fake tan. Could turn out disastrously! Go and enjoy yourself, and good luck! :)

    I might do an aul layer of holiday skin type stuff to take the blue tint off me :rolleyes: then just leave it, you're right, pale and interesting it is! :cool:

    Found a denim mini with little random sparkly bits on it, then have pink vest for over bikini top, will see when I get there whether the top stays on or off ;)

    Spent all evening working on tightening up the set so hopefully people will concentrate on that instead of me ha :D

    edit to add: by tightening up set i mean the dj set, not like squeezing myself into too small bikini or something! :o
