L plates sticking

    More so not sticking, the back one had to be re-stuck 2/3 times today and the front about 4(and it's half off at the moment).

    Any way I can make them stick better?

    Those are the ones I'm talking about, they just won't stick for me. The window's clean too.

    I'd agree to that one! I remember having those ones that stuck to the outside of the car, and within a week, ie 2 hours of driving they were gone!
    OrlaK you could use masking tape or similar if they are not sticking properly on the inside of the car.

    wet the front of the L plate that is to be stuck to the glass.. I have seen this soo many times before.
    I bet they stay up.

    well dont use silicone anyways cause my windscreen is wrecked, i was told it peels off. IT DOESNT!!!

    i wouldnt use anything sticky at all
    i used really strong duck tape, theres still bits stuck to the window!
    And the plates have been down a year now

    Did you peel them off the card ? a lot of people dont realise they need to be removed from the card backing.

    I use those magnetic ones that stick on the front, cos my dad won't drive his car with L plates up :P

    I think the standard L plates need to be wet before sticking so give them a lick and they should stay! I'd the same prob with mine, even resorted to sellotape! :rolleyes:
