Best not drag this up again , look up Preseli power levels instead.

Once the UK turns off analogue in Wales ( presently) and in the rest of England by 2011 the power on certain transmitters will be increased over the next few years .

This will increase the reach of certain Welsh DTT transmitters which may make a difference for all I know :) . Preseli is the most likely

Start here, nice map and all .

Please don't drag up 4 year old threads. Confuses people.

We don't charge for new threads :)

    No hope.

you would not receive any reception of UK analogue signals during normal conditions in Waterford city?, its pointless speculating if there will be reception of UK freeview, there won't.

Surely August 19th when they are said to multiply the power of preseli freeview transmitter it will reach further distance and better strength that before

    Not a hope.

In laymans language, what the increase in power should do is bring the service area for preseli digital more into the reliability scale of presely analogue.

So if you don't have reliable preseli analogue now -you wont be getting reliable preseli dtt.

Waterford is a tad outside of that.
Preseli is quite good up through wexford as far north as parts of co wicklow.
Those areas should be in luck except when mt leinster is fully on when boxer starts if it does.
