Anyone watching this pathetic excuse of a cup between 2 elite golf clubs in Florida ?
It really is sickening to watch these multi millionaire golfers competing in this ultra elite commercial tournament.
They are competing for a purse of $3.5 million, with boats and cars as hole-in-one prizes in front of an invitation-only gallery of 4,000?
Some of these golfers are unbelievably greedy.

Only about a quarter goes to charity.
Purse is $3.88 million, of which $1 million is donated to charity on behalf of the winning team.

what does 'ultra elite' mean exactly? if anything it has a weaker field than last weeks tourament. it must have been ultra ultra ultra elite? Every tournament is commercial. sounds like you have an issue with golf in general, not just this?

All the pros are members of the respective clubs as far as i could gather. All the spectators are either members or guests as well. The standard of golf is quite good from what i saw and when Tiger is playing its always worth watching. Dont think the money is an issue for the majority of these players so cant say they are being greedy imo and 1 million for charity put up by these ultra elite millionaires is a nice touch. Not like they have to put up the dosh as other clubs are alot more exclusive and dont do anything for charity.

whats the problem with it. Sure it's a bit of fun competition but you get to look at some of the world's best players when they are relaxed and maybe try shots they normally wouldn't in competition. Have to say i've always enjoyed watching it myself.

I'm nearly sure I heard the commentators say that most of the players were donating their prize money to different local charities.
