Amstrad Satellite Receiver Decoder SRD520

Hya,

Heres hoping? someone can help...

We have an old analogue satellite dish on our roof...and our old analogue decoder is getting old

We have recently acquired an Amstrad Satellite Reciever Decoder SRD520 and it works with our telly and dish....

BUT we have only the channels that originally came with this decoder and we really want International Eurosport (not in the channels on the decoder) - we have no remote - so how can we tune in International Eurosport?

Anyone any ideas????

I don't think you'll be able to tune it without the remote control.

There are various websites selling a replacement remote though, like donberg.ie for example.

You might get a car boot better Aldi or Lidl Analogue receiver cheaper than the new remote, But plenty of people selling them.

Wow havent seen one of those babys for a long long time, not a bad receiver for its time, would be well worth your while upgrading your system, certainly owes you nothing..

I simply couldnt beleive my eyes today when I went to my local recycling plant in Limerick and there rite before my eyes was an Amstrad Srd520 only days after saying I hadnt seen one in yrs there was one....not its sister the 510 but the 520
